A little update on my situation.

Firstly allow me to state just how blown away and humbled I have been the last 24 hours — the outpouring of support and enthusiasm, on Twitter, on Facebook, at my email address ( talktodino@gmail.com ) has been breathtaking.

In the now 24 hours that have passed, I have received more than 500 individual emails from people all over the world, including places like, Israel, England, and Germany.

My situation has even attracted the attention of a noted documentary film maker who has requested to come out to WYOMING to…document me?

Many people are telling me they are cancelling their subscriptions, in some cases, multiple subscriptions to SiriusXM.

Listen now, if I can caution you against doing that – at least for the time being.

Although nothing has been resolved to this point, this situation has not reached it’s definitive conclusion as of yet.

I would expect to hear something by Monday at the earliest when the entire crew is back in New York from New Orleans.

Everyone should be aware that I love the company I’ve worked for over the past 5 years — nobody on the air is more bullish about SXM than I am.

I am proud to have been with SXM these years – and I have consistently made it clear that I want to remain with SXM for however long I’ll be doing talk radio — and that I want to do more for SXM, bigger things, better things.

At this point however, the situation is not in my control at all.

I have reached out to SXM officials, I have made my feelings known that I believe the entire situation could have, and should have been handled better by all who are connected to the situation.

I have also decided NOT to head to Las Vegas this weekend.

The reasons being that the money aspect started to feel wrong — and the individual who was inviting me and paying me was now welcoming me under much different circumstances than he had originally anticipated.

It went from being a light and breezy, happy moment, to one that unfortunately garnered a dark cloud very quickly.

The trip was supposed to be a celebration of sorts – it was supposed to be fun, not murky as it would have been.

I apologized to this man for getting into the middle of something he never asked for.

Beyond all of this I’m looking to the future.

The future could be back with SXM, in fact, that would probably be my preference.

I’ve built up quite a bit of equity with SXM — I’ve moved the needle significantly for the company — achieving both on and off the air — tangible positive and productive bodies of work.

I’ve had a huge hand in creating a successful radio station at #86 on the dial.

The collective dollar amount the other day as I ran my ‘Dino Auction’ exceeded $15,000.

I’d relish the opportunity to bring that kind of money (and more) into the SXM coffers with an expanded role in the future.

I’ve always been able to sell, particulaly if I have a passion for what I am advocating — and if it means combining a bigger Dino platform with the SXM brand, under the right conditions – there is no limit to what I would be able to do with SXM.

But again – that’s all to be determined at later points.

And so, with my future in limbo, I want to let you all know, that if I am not asked to return to SXM, I am prepared to embark upon one of the most challenging  - yet exciting – moments of my professional broadcast career.

Within this very short time span I have combined with a few other individuals to create what would be a Dino Costa multi-media platform that would exist in many ways — and on many levels.

This world of ‘Digital DINO’, would be something that to this point my fans have only dreamed about.

This project would entail a host of DINO related options and menu choices that would bring my SHOW to the public in a fashion that to date — would be unprecedented.

—>A world of ‘Digital DINO’, that would include a daily live SHOW, looped on a 24/7 basis so that you could access it anywhere, anyplace, and at anytime.

—>Digital DINO would also feature audio combined with crystal clear high definition video, so that you can watch the SHOW’S as they are being broadcast.

—>Separate features like a library of Podcast interviews - done with all sorts of interesting people – athletes past and present, actors, comedians, business people from all walks, these will be done with consistency and would be archived so that you could have access to them at your fingertips anytime, anywhere.

—>Separate video segments, featuring opinion and commentary pieces  – looks that will go behind the scenes, at the studio, on the road, at my home…you will share all of my world with me.

—>Written segments featuring ‘The Costa Chronicles’, much like you see with stories on my website currently.

—>All SHOWS will also be archived and available to be pulled by you at anytime, anywhere.

—>Besides a totally new website design with a new web address, the ‘Digital DINO’ story will also include an exciting ‘App’ that will be developed — allowing you to go mobile with the entire DINO package whenever and wherever you happen to be.

—>Digital DINO would be presented to you in a cost effective manner, as our initial business plan calls for unlimited subscriber access at no more than $10.00 a month to start.

—>Digital DINO will be equipped with sales & marketing personnel, as we would plan on monetizing our franchise with marketing dollars, companies whose profile is an exact and perfect match for the entire TEAM DINO experience.

All of the elements will be broadcast from a newly constructed studio right in the heart of downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming — and broadcast around the world utilizing the most innovative and cutting edge audio and visual components.

You have provided us with some of the very best in unexpected market research over the past 24 hours, acknowledging to us, that should Digital DINO come to fruition —  that you would enthusiastically come on board as we launched sometime in the near future.

We would also plan to take The Digital DINO experience mobile with a variety of remote shows — featuring an official TEAM DINO vehicle, stopping in at towns and communities all across The North American Continent a few times each year, getting into your environment, with our boots on the ground, meeting with all of you, spreading the TEAM DINO spirit high and wide, from border-to-border.
